About our Name

If you think our name has a story behind it you are correct. Rubicon is a famous river in Italy where in 49 BC an outnumbered and underpowered army crossed a river to fight a battle most thought they should lose. They won! The phrase "Crossing the Rubicon" came to represent where a monumental decision changes the course of history.

For the construction industry, the challenges we face are monumental. Qualified construction labor is in short supply, costs are constantly on the rise, and consumer expectations are reaching a new level. In addition, the demand for, and obligation of this industry to rethink how new homes and buildings are constructed while considering the impact on our environment is continuing to grow. Rubicon has decisively committed to change the expectations of Systems-Built technology, and to redefine what the terms "quality" and "green" mean to construction, and to bring your dream to reality.

Mission Statement

  • Establishment of a construction and development company that utilizes Systems Built Technology and incorporates LEED and Energy-Starprinciples.
  • Change and define the expectations and perceptions of Systems Built Technology by educating consumers, contractors, developers, realtors and the general public on what the method is and what it is not.
  • Establish new methods and products that drive Systems Built Technology into new areas of growth, in order to meet current and upcoming trends in construction and development.

Why We Believe in Systems Built Construction?

  • Recent advances in Systems Built Technology make these products cost, time and quality effective. The current industry has not capitalized on these advances.
  • Manpower shortages and cost increases will continue in our future. Businesses need to be prepared to adapt.
  • Consumers will no longer tolerate standard, un-customized options and inferior quality, regardless of the level of finish or final price.
  • The need for responsible choices in the materials and methods used in construction has become critical in today's environment. Construction choices need to be progressive and sustainable for future generations.
